Presidential Country ClubNo Member Rating - (Rate it!)
| This course has been redesigned by Tom Fazio and is now a private facility. There is only one tee that even remotely resembles the old course. The old beginning hole is now #15. Fazio kept the best of what the old Presidential was known for, mainly one of the last places in Miami Beach to be able to boast about having massive Florida Oak trees and hard, fast greens. The layout is reminiscent of the Doral Red Course with well-bunkered holes and quite a few carries or sharp doglegs around water. On one dogleg left, you cannot see the green from the tee box because the angle is almost ninety degrees. In April of 1999, a new clubhouse opened, which is also reminiscent of Doral. This is a very challenging course with a number of memorable holes. |
